Miguel is filmmaker, cinematographer, and founding partner at Cowboy Bear Ninja. He is a Sundance-supported artist and Independent Spirit Award nominee who has made short and feature documentaries, as well as ads for NGOs and companies. SKY LINE, a documentary about scientists building an elevator to outer space, premiered at DOCNYC and aired on Netflix. PLAYING POLITICS, a short doc about students acting ot the 2016 Presidential campaign was shown on The Guardian. And HUMMINGBIRDS, which Miguel shot and served as co-director on, won the Grand Prix for Best Feature at Berlinale Generation 2023.
